LAST 80 KM BEFORE ARRIVING IN ROME

Refreshed by lunch in Macerata after the 255 km travelled in the morning, the crews continued into the Marche region, tackling further sporting activities: 7 Trials in the Corridonia area, a Passage Control in Fermo and another block of Time Trials in the hamlet of Montotto.

The weather today is not assisting the drivers and co-drivers who, after a morning of mild weather, are tackling this long leg in the pouring rain.

The partial classification, updated to the Montotto Time Trials, sees Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli in the lead ahead of Gianmario Fontanella and Anna Maria Covelli, with Alberto Aliverti and Stefano Valente on the third step of the podium. Andrea Milesi and Giordano Mozzi lead the Ferrari Tribute with their F8 Spider and Paolo Piva and Matteo Ferraglio lead the 1000 Miglia Green with a Tesla Model Y.

Passage Control at the entrance to Ascoli Piceno for the classic cars and lunch under the 16th century arches of the Maggiore Cloister di San Francesco, next to the Basilica of the same name, for the Ferrari Tribute crews. After the Time Control at 6:30 p.m. in Rieti, the convoy will set off in the direction of the Capital, where Villa Borghese will host the last Time Control of the day before the final platform in Via Veneto.
