After the restart Time Control following lunch and leaving behind the splendid view of the Plan de Corones and the Alps of the Zillertal valley of Castello di Ripa, the crews challenged each other in an Average Trial at Lasta di Dentro and a series of Time Trials in the Terento area, before reaching the third Country of the Great Journey, Austria. The skies, which this morning showed a slight glimmer of sun, are now cloudy but for the rain still hasn’t arrived.
Once across the Brenner Pass, first there was an Average Trial near Pfons and then a Time Trial in Innsbruck, Austria’s fifth largest city and leader of the Tyrolean Clean Alpine Region project, active in the development and application of innovative and clean technologies.
After the trials along the Klosterstrasse, the second leg ended in Seefeld, site of the first environmentally friendly hydroelectric plant producing energy from waste water. The Ginesi-Rohr and Decremer-Mertens crews were confirmed in first and second position, with Albert and Ute Schrader in their 1976 Porsche 911 Targa advancing from fifth to third position.
Connections between mountain agriculture and tourism will be discussed over dinner. Hosts Elias Walser, Seefeld Tourism Office and Lisa Krenkel, Tourismverband Seefeld.

The Italian Embassy in Beijing today hosted the presentation of the first edition of the 1000 Miglia Experience China, an event that from 14 to 17 November 2024 will bring the Red Arrow to the Land of the Red Dragon for the first time 🇨🇳🐉
The 1000 Miglia Experience China 2024, organised by the Federation Classic Car China, will take place in southern China’s Guangdong province, the first Chinese region to have trade relations with Europe, and more precisely in the Canton (or Guangzhou) area. It will be open to 6 different classes of cars, starting with those belonging to the 1000 Miglia Era class, which includes the cars and models that took part in the 1000 Miglia speed race held between 1927 and 1957 🚗
During the presentation, and for the next three days, one of Canton’s most representative buildings will be illuminated with the symbols of the 1000 Miglia and the upcoming event, for which entries will open shortly 🔜

The final leg of the #CoppadelleAlpi2024 kicked off from Gstaad with the last block of Time Trials on Swiss soil.
Continuing in the direction of France, the crews did an Average Trial at the foot of Glacier 3000 and one at Col Des Montets 📌🏔️
The convoy reached Megève for the Passage Control before continuing on to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Alpine Town of the year 2025 and home of the Centre de Recherches sur les Ecosystemes d`Altitude.
The extraordinary panorama from the Refuge du Montenvers, alt. 1900 metres on Mont Blanc, will accompany the last lunch of race . 🏞️

The Time Control at the start in St.Moritz and the Average Trial at Lake Marmorera kicked off the fourth day of the race before reaching Vaduz, capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein, site of the second Time Trials block of the day🇱🇮
With the Stein Average Trial in the Canton of St. Gallen, the race returned to Switzerland and, skirting the lakes of Zurich and Zug, reached Lucerne 🏞📍
The Swiss Museum of Transport was the venue for the race lunch and offered plenty of points for discussion on sustainable mobility 🍃
