The winners of Bolidi e Dimore were announced today at the Automobile Club of Brescia. The event, which took place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June, featured an exhibition of fifty classic cars in some of the historic buildings in the centre of Brescia.
A jury of experts was appointed to select the three cars whose stylistic features were most relevant to the history and design of the architecture of the host buildings. Cavalier Aldo Bonomi, President of AC Brescia, presented the first-place trophy to Pierangelo Zani, owner of the 1931 DIXI DA awarded by the judges. Second place went to Andrian Bradu’s 1922 Diatto 20 Targa Florio, followed by Giuseppe Cazzaniga’s 1964 OSCA 1050 Spider Touring Superleggera.
“The response from the public, both from Brescia and elsewhere, was very positive for the third time, which makes us happy and proud to have contributed once again, through the Red Arrow and our passion for classic cars, to promoting our city of Brescia”, said AC Brescia President Cav. Aldo Bonomi.
With Bolidi e Dimore, 1000 Miglia Srl and the Club Mille Miglia Franco Mazzotti aim to complete the “Red Arrow week” by helping to make Brescia increasingly known as “the City of the 1000 Miglia”.
