COPPA DELLE ALPI 2025, IN THE LAST LEG IT WILL BE A HEAD-TO-HEAD BETWEEN BELOTTI-PLEBANI AND ALIVERTI-POLINI

The provisional classification after the second leg still favours Matteo Belotti and Ingrid Plebani in their 1927 Bugatti T 37 A, but watch out for Alberto Aliverti and Francesco Polini in their 1937 Fiat 508 C, who will keep trying to take the lead until the end. In third place, Di Pietra (1938 Fiat 508 C), in fourth Passanante-Molgora (1937 Lancia Aprilia Berlina 1350).

The third and final leg of the 2025 Coppa delle Alpi started at 9:30 this morning, postponed by three quarters of an hour due to the forced modification of a section of the route caused by the closure of the Gardena Pass, due to an avalanche alert.

From the Start Time Control in Brixen, the crews headed to Laion for the first Time Trials of the day in Albions, where an enthusiastic crowd applauded the arrival of the cars. Then, instead of turning towards the Gardena and Pordoi passes, once it had left the village of Selva di Val Gardena behind, the convoy headed off to the Val di Fassa.

After a refreshment break in Predazzo, the Val di Fiemme will host the second series of trials in the morning, against the backdrop of the splendid Dolomite peaks. At the end of the morning, the last Average Trial of the event will be held on the shores of Lake Stramentizzo, preceding the lunch break in Baselga di Piné.
