1000 Miglia Charity 2025
La Zebra ODV will be the new official Charity of the 1000 Miglia 2025.
The collaboration between 1000 Miglia Srl, organiser of the most beautiful Race in the world, and La zebra ODV will help support the purchase of a latest generation ultrasound scanner (the first in Italy) to be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Brescia – ASST spedali civili.
The project:
The Supersonic Mach v4.2 ultrasound scanner, which with its “ultra fast” technology with supersonic acquisition capabilities allows for two-dimensional analysis with real-time tissue quantification, represents a significant advancement in ultrasound technology and is the world’s first equipment with a platform that, thanks to artificial intelligence and ultra-fast shear wave technology (which increases imaging frame rates up to 20,000 frames per second), offers a combination of speed and resolution that significantly improves the quality of imaging and the resulting effectiveness of diagnosis.
Furthermore, shear wave allows the stiffness of tissues to be measured, making it possible to distinguish, for example, malignant lesions that tend to be stiffer than benign ones.
The ultra fast ultrasound scanner allows increasingly precise diagnoses and avoids biopsy in many cases.
