The O.S.C.A. brand has its roots in the early days of motoring when, in 1914, Alfieri Maserati founded the “Officine Alfieri Maserati” factory in Bologna, which over time became a car manufacturer capable of victories all over the world.
In 1947, the Maserati brothers Bindo, Ernesto and Ettore founded the “Officine Specializzate Costruzioni Automobili – Fratelli Maserati” following on from the business started by their brother Alfieri. Therefore O.S.C.A. was grafted onto a long tradition of design skills, knowledge, technical and sporting experiences, as well as entrepreneurship. Until the early 1960s, the Maserati brothers were among the major players in world motorsport and their OSCAs ranked all over the world.
Today, the glorious O.S.C.A. brand is still a reference point for all motorsport enthusiasts and, 75 years after its birth, it celebrates an important anniversary on the occasion of the most famous event for historic cars, the 1000 Miglia.
