The traveling museum in the capital of the Renaissance
Considered one of the art cities par excellence, Ferrara can boast about having seen a traveling museum passing through its streets. The 1000 Miglia 2023 passed through Ferrara and then concluded the first leg in Cervia. On Tuesday 13th June the Race travelled through the Renaissance capital, ruled for three centuries by the House of Este and which to the present days preserves a unique urban plan in which the Middle Ages and the Renaissance manage to blend. Due to this unique feature of Ferrara, it has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
